Yoga is an ancient mind and body practice that strengthens, balances, eliminates toxins and calms on every level.
I studied with the Devon School of Yoga, founded by Duncan Hulin, with a style evolving from a succession of teachers from the South of India. The lineage can be traced back to Swami Sivananda Paramahamsa. Swamiji taught Bhagawan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri and Dr Pilai of Kerala, who in turn taught Duncan.
I now teach holistic hatha yoga - holistic meaning a realisation that every part of the individual is intimately interconnected. Through flowing asana and held postures, pranayama, mantra and meditation, we will strengthen and detoxify the many systems of the body and rebalance our energies. This in turn quietens the mind and allows us to come to rest in stillness.
I am currently offering one to one yoga sessions, which is a great way to expand your personal practice, or to really get the foundations in place if you are a beginner. These sessions can be tailored to your needs if you have something specific you want to address. You can also add a class to your to your Gut Microbiome Rebalance Program to aid the body in the detoxification process.
A one to one session with me costs £30 for 60 minutes or £40 for 90 minutes.
